At Refery, we value your privacy and strive to protect your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using our mobile app, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

Information We Collect

We may collect various types of information, including:

  • IP Address: For logging purposes and to maintain the security of our app.
  • SSO IDs: Obtained from Google and Apple Single Sign-On (SSO) to simplify the login process.
  • Email: Automatically obtained from SSO to communicate with you.
  • Firstname & Lastname: Automatically obtained from SSO for account setup.
  • Paypal Email: Required to pay out earnings.
  • Address: Entered while paying out earnings, required for legal purposes.
  • Notification IDs: Provided by Expo Notifications to send push notifications.
  • Locale: Automatically detected to personalize your experience.
  • Timezone: Automatically detected to provide accurate timing information.
  • Targeting Fields: Manually inputted by you (e.g., Birthday, Gender, Country, Languages, and Interests) to tailor campaigns to your profile.
  • Browser Fingerprinting: Used to uniquely identify each browser, without using cookies.

Use of Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Facilitate the creation of and secure your account on our network.
  • Identify you as a user in our system.
  • Provide, personalize, and improve our services.
  • Communicate with you about your account and provide customer support.
  • Monitor, detect, and deter unauthorized or fraudulent use of or abuse of the services.
  • Enable you to share campaigns and earn commissions.

Third-Party Services

We utilize the following third-party services, each governed by its own privacy policy:

  • Sentry: For error tracking to improve our app.
  • Cloudflare: To optimize web delivery and enhance security.
  • Pirsch: Cookie-free, and privacy-friendly web analytics.
  • PayPal: For processing payouts to users.
  • Aptabase: For minimalistic and privacy-friendly analytics in our app.

Pirsch

For web analytics, we use Pirsch Analytics. Pirsch Analytics is a cookie-free web analytics software that was developed according to the Privacy by Design principle. To analyze visitor flows, Pirsch Analytics uses a hashing algorithm to generate a 16-digit number as the visitor ID when the page request is received. The input values are the IP address, the user agent, the date and a salt.

The visitor's IP address is not persisted in whole or in part, and is anonymized completely and non-reversibly by the hash. The inclusion of the date and the use of one salt per website ensures that website visitors cannot be recognized for more than 24 hours and cannot be tracked across multiple websites. A rough localization (country/city) is performed via a locally integrated database.

Age Restriction

You must be at least 18 years old to use Refery. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, modify, or delete your personal information at any time. You can also opt-out of receiving any promotional communications.

We process your personal information with your consent and/or as necessary to provide the services you request, for our legitimate interests or the legitimate interests of third parties, or to comply with law or fulfill other legal obligations. By using Refery, you consent to this processing.

Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services, support your account, resolve disputes, establish legal defenses, conduct audits, pursue legitimate business purposes, enforce our agreements, and comply with applicable laws.

Data Protection Rights Under General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have certain data protection rights. Refery aims to take reasonable steps to allow you to correct, amend, delete, or limit the use of your Personal Data.   • The right to withdraw consent – You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any time where Refery relied on your consent to process your personal information.

Your information, including personal data, may be transferred to — and maintained on — computers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where the data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. We will take all the steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Data Security

We employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. However, despite these efforts, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable and no method of data transmission can be guaranteed to prevent any interception or other types of misuse.
